BREED PROFILE: The American Warmblood is more of a type than a breed. It came into being with the desire of American breeders to establish a Warmblood of their own. The American Warmblood registry was founded in Jackson, CA in 1981. It now controls and encourages the breeding of high performance, athletic and well-tempered horses for a variety of equestrian disciplines. CHARACTERISTICS: The huge gene pool used in developing American Warmblood means it can vary widely in looks and type, depending in which breeds have been used. Only the highest quality stallions and mares are used and all are inspected and certified for breeding purposes. The American Warmblood is athletic, willing and excels at show jumping and dressage. |

Each piece is boxed in a really lovely black box and includes a black wood base. The horses are removable from bases for shipping or packing purposes. |
